Aims
1. To ensure that the Centre promotes and provides high quality childcare, which meets the needs of both the parents and children, enrolled in the Centre.
2. To provide a professional service that is accountable to all who use it.
Philosophy
It is
our belief that all children regardless of race, religion, culture, colour,
creed, sex or abilities have the right to good quality childcare within a homely,
caring, safe, comfortable, co-operative environment.
The aim and objectives of the Centre are based on values and beliefs that will
hopefully lead to professional, quality care, education of children and happy
children, parents and staff.
Objectives
1. To liaise with parents in order to provide all children in care with a safe,
healthy, nurturing and educational environment appropriate to the individual
development levels and needs of the child.
2. To create an environment which promotes the development of trust, self confidence,
self expression, acceptance and respect for other rights and needs.
3. To create an environment, which positively encourages the growth of independence,
initiative, co-operation, self control, self-respect and choice in decision
making as appropriate.
4. To develop programs within each group which responds to the various cultural
needs of children and their families.
5. To ensure the programs respond to and meet the needs of families and children
with special needs.
6. To create an atmosphere, which is warm, caring and friendly to enable children,
staff and parents to feel comfortable, accepted and secure.
7. To encourage and support the professional growth of all staff.
